Nothing Left Against You

“He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him, holy and blameless and beyond reproach.” Colossians 1:22

What an incredible verse this is! Just to think that Jesus accepts us as sinners, washes us clean, and He presents us before God as holy and blameless, beyond reproach!

One translation reads, “there is nothing left against us!” Think about this! You could be standing in a court room. You might have committed the worst crimes in all the world. Things that are unthinkable! But because of what Jesus did for us, we are pardoned! We have been totally set free!

There is absolutely nothing left against us! With the salvation and freedom we have been given, how can we do anything less than serve God and do our best to live for Him every day of our lives?
