Nursery Volunteers

Children’s Bible Class Teacher

Commitment Level: 3

Schedule: Weekly for 1 year

Do you feel passionately about the benefits of a Bible Class? Do you love school-aged children? If so, volunteering to teach a children’s Bible Class might be a great fit for you! The children of Capitol Hill Assembly have been blessed to have so many wonderful Bible Class teachers throughout the years, but that heritage can only continue if brave new men and women step up to answer the call to teach! Jr. Kid’s Church Volunteer

Schedule: Weekly Rotation

Jr. Kid’s Church is our special class just for kids aged 4 years through Kindergarten! Our Jr. Kid’s Church class has a special junior-sized church service just for them upstairs where they participate in an interactive and immersive environment that brings the truth of God’s word to life. If you have lots of energy, patience, and love working with bright and enthusiastic young kids, volunteering in Jr. Kid’s Church is a great place to serve! Kid’s Church Volunteer

Commitment Level: 1

Schedule: Once a month for 6 months

Kid’s Church is a unique and tailored experience for children who are in 1st through 6th grade. Our Children’s Pastor, Serena Cargill, needs energized and dedicated volunteers each week to help facilitate while she brings the truth of the gospel to life for the kids of Capitol Hill through worship, games, message, and of course, lots of FUN! If you love working with school-aged children, serving in Kid’s Church on Sunday mornings in the Student Center might be a great fit for you! Youth Leader Volunteer

Schedule: Weekly for 6 months

Every week on Wednesday nights our youth ministry, The Hill, meets at 7 PM in the Student Center to worship God, learn Biblical truth, pray, and grow in relationship with each other. Now more than ever, our young people need role models with strong foundations in the Word of God who care about pouring into their lives. Media/Tech Volunteer

Commitment Level: 3

Schedule: Monthly Rotation + Training

From audio and sound engineering, to the digital components of live streaming our services, to managing the lights and slide presentations, there is a lot of coordination that goes into a smooth service. Digital Photography/Media Volunteer

Schedule: Monthly / As Needed

Do you have a camera and love to take pictures? We need help capturing all the amazing things that goes on at Capitol Hill on a monthly basis. From regular service to Sunday School to special events like baptisms and baby dedications, we need photographers who are experienced. Adult Bible Study Teacher

Commitment Level: 3

Schedule: Weekly for 1 Year

Do you have the gift of teaching? Do you just love to study the Word of God and share with others what you’ve learned? Do you have a heart for facilitating discussion around the truths of scripture? We always need ready, willing, and able leaders to teach Adult Bible Study classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. Worship Team/ Choir/ Musicians

Do you love to sing? Do you play an instrument? We’re always looking to add talented musicians and singers to the Worship Team and Choir! Capitol Grounds Coffee Shop Team

Schedule: Weekly Rotation + Training

Is there anything better than the smell of fresh coffee in the morning? The coffee shop is currently open on Sunday mornings from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and we need dedicated volunteers to learn how to serve our premium brew! Never made coffee before? No problem! Training will be provided and an experienced team member will always be on-shift. Special Events Team

Wedding showers, baby showers, special receptions - coming together to celebrate special occasions is one of the things that makes Capitol Hill feel like family. We have such a special tradition of celebrating life’s moments together. Hospitality Team

If Capitol Hill does one thing exceptionally, it is definitely taking care of its people during difficult times. When we experience the painful home going of one of our members, we have a team of volunteers who serve the family of that loved-one a luncheon on the day of the memorial service. Royal Family Kids Camp Volunteer

Schedule: One Yearly Event + Training

Each year, Capitol Hill utilizes dozens of volunteers to host a week-long camp for children ages 6-12 who are in foster care in Oklahoma County. This camp is completely free to campers and provides a safe, loving, and fun environment for some of our most vulnerable Oklahomans. This camp would not be possible without volunteers!
