Grace

I read something about grace that I loved and wanted to share it.

Grace is divine favor. There are different words to describe grace: costly, abundant, and abounding.

Costly grace means it comes at a price. And that price was Jesus giving His life on the cross.

Abundant grace means there is plenty of grace and it won’t run out.

Abounding grace means it is widespread.

It is so important for us to remember this! Grace did come at a price! God’s grace is abundant and when we ask His forgiveness, it covers our sins!

Having grown up in the church, I heard a lot of great sermons. As I look back, I remember a minister saying something about grace that I have never forgotten. He said, “Grace is something we desperately need, but don’t deserve.” That may be one of my favorite descriptions of grace!

Every day we need God’s grace! We don’t deserve it, but still, we have it. And the reason we have it is because of Jesus’s death and resurrection. Today I am so thankful for God’s amazing grace!
