The Promises of God

The Word of God is so powerful. So many times in my daily Bible reading, it is just what I need for that day.

Recently, I was reading in Jeremiah 1:18,19. “‘For see, today I have made you impervious to their attacks. They cannot harm you. You are strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar and heavy gates of brass…They will try, but they will fail. For I am with you,’ says the Lord. ‘I will deliver you.’”

Even though this was spoken many years ago by the prophet, Jeremiah, it is still what God is saying to His people today.

Whatever you may be facing today, remember these two things. One, you are impervious (I love that word) to the attacks of the enemy. And the second thing to remember is that God is with you and will deliver you!

That is all you need to know! In the face of the enemy who is trying to destroy you, remember your God is greater! He will deliver!
