Psalm 103:1-5

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit; who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.”

This was one of my dad’s favorite passages of scripture, and it is one of mine as well. It pretty much covers everything we could possibly need!

He forgives us, He heals us, He redeems us, and crowns us with lovingkindness and compassion.

He is going to give us good things all the years of our lives. And then He is going to renew our youth! Who doesn’t want that?

When I stop and think about all that God does for me, I want to say with the psalmist, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.”
