God’s Payback

“Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap.” Luke 6:38

This is such an incredible verse! It tells us that when we give, we get so much more in return! Think about it! When we “give” we are paid back with “running over, poured into our lap” blessings!

I don’t know about you, but I think that’s a really great return! And I believe this is more than just monetary blessings.

Sometimes, we need to stop and look back and think of all the great ways God has blessed us! I’ll be honest, I know I don’t do this as often as I should, but when I do, I am amazed at the goodness of God.

Typically, at Thanksgiving we make it a point to be thankful. But what if right now, no matter what is going on in our lives, we take a moment to say, “Thank you, God, for all the ways you bless me every single day”!
