Enlarge the Place of Your Tent

I love God’s Word! And I love the Book of Isaiah! There is just so much to learn from this book.

One of my favorite chapters is chapter 54. There are so many verses that are so meaningful in this chapter.

One of those verses is Isaiah 54:2 that says, “Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the place of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs.”

If you read the beginning of the chapter, you will see that God is going to send children to someone who has no children. But there is also a spiritual application here.

Sometimes it’s easy to become satisfied with where we are in life. Maybe things are going well and it’s just so easy to coast along. But God has so much more for us as believers!

He has blessings too numerous to count! He wants us to get ready! In our churches, I believe He wants to send a harvest of souls like we have never seen before!

So, let’s do it! Let’s enlarge the place of our tent! Let’s stretch out the place of our dwellings! Let’s be ready for all that God wants to do through each of us!
