Favorite Verses From Isaiah

One of my favorite books in all the Bible is the Book of Isaiah. And if I had to choose a favorite chapter or verse, it would be very difficult. But I have to say, one passage of scripture really stands out to me. In fact, just reading it touches my heart.

Here it is:

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior….You are precious and honored in My sight, and because I love you….Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”

Isaiah 43:1-5

I don’t know what you may be walking through today. You may feel overwhelmed by trials and difficult circumstances, but let me assure you that you will come out and not be burned. You can be assured that God loves you and He is with you. There is nothing to fear!
