Our Great and Powerful God

Sometimes I think it’s good to stop and remind ourselves how great our God truly is!

Daniel 6:26-27 says, “For He is the living God and He endures forever; His kingdom will not be destroyed, His dominion will never end. He rescues and He saves; He performs signs and wonders in the Heavens and on the earth.”

Notice that the first part of this verse says that our God is living. He is not a statue that someone made. He is alive! And absolutely nothing can destroy His kingdom. He rescues us when we are in trouble. He saves and performs miracles.

God does so many things for us. I remember recently praying for a financial situation. God sent a miracle from a very unexpected source.

There are miracles all around us such as miracles of protection and provision. He is all powerful and all knowing. He holds the universe in His hands and yet He is a personal God. He listens and He hears every prayer we pray! He not only listens! He answers!

Right now would be a good time to take a moment and thank our Heavenly Father for all He has done for us. Let’s thank Him for what He is doing right now that we may not even be aware of. And let’s thank Him for the miracles He will do for us in the future!
