What Do You Need?

I don’t know what you are in need of today. Everyone seems to be dealing with something in their lives.

Maybe it’s a decision you need to make. In that case, you may need wisdom, understanding, or knowledge. Maybe it’s something you are facing and you need strength to get through it.

In Isaiah 11:2 it says, “And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”

This passage of scripture is talking about when Jesus comes, He will have all these things.

But as followers of Christ, it’s for us as well! Because of Jesus we have wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and fear (or reverence) of the Lord.

Whatever we are in need of today, our God has already provided for us. That is such a comfort. We can rest in Him!
