Because One Man Prayed

There is a powerful story in the Book of Joshua. Joshua prayed for the sun and moon to stand still so they could finish the battle and defeat their enemies. And that’s exactly what happened!

There is no doubt in my mind that it was an incredible miracle. But I don’t think any of us need the sun or moon to stand still today.

What we do need is to see our prayers answered. Maybe we are praying for a friend who is in desperate need of a physical healing. Maybe we are praying for a financial need to be met. Or maybe we are praying for someone we know to accept Jesus as their Savior.

If God heard the prayer of one man who prayed, will He not hear and answer our prayers as well?

I know He will. And I want to be the “one” who sees answers as a result of my prayers. Let’s believe God to do amazing things!
