Daily Benefits

“Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our Salvation.” Psalm 68:19

My dad loved that verse. And when I think of my daily blessings, there are so many things I have to be thankful for. There are the blessings of family and friends. Over and over, God has been faithful to meet all of my needs. But today, most of all, I am thankful for my spiritual blessings. Those blessings are the greatest of all.

First of all, I am thankful for my salvation. When we accept Jesus, we are forgiven and set free from sin. And the greatest blessing of all is that one day we will spend eternity in Heaven with God, our Heavenly Father, and Jesus, His Son.

Is there anything that could ever compare with the future we have as believers?
