I Know One Thing For Sure

When Jesus healed the blind man in John Chapter 9, it caused quite an uproar. Some people didn’t believe it was the blind man they knew. They said it just looked like him.

Others said they didn’t think Jesus could have been sent by God because He healed on the Sabbath. And yet some people believed Jesus was a prophet. There was such division!

Then they came back to the blind man, who had been healed, and asked him who he thought Jesus was. I love his response. He said, “I know nothing about that one way or the other. But I know one thing for sure: I was blind…I now see.”

People can have a lot of debates about who Jesus is, but when you have had a personal experience with Him that puts all the arguments to rest. There’s nothing like a personal testimony. When you can say personally that Jesus has answered your prayer for salvation, healing, and many other things, no one can take that away from you!

That’s when you can say with the blind man, “I know one thing for sure: I was blind…I now see.”
