Praying for the Harvest

I was reading through one of my journals recently and this entry caught my attention. The date was October 7, 2023. That was the date the war broke out between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

On that date I wrote down this verse in my journal. “The harvest is finished, the summer is over and we are not saved.” Jeremiah 8:20

I couldn’t help but think of how many of the Jewish people might not know Jesus as their Savior. But not only the Jewish people, there are probably millions of people around the world who have never accepted Jesus.

As you are reading this, will you take a moment and agree with me in prayer for the people in Israel who need to accept Jesus?

Let’s also pray for our missionaries around the world. Let’s pray God blesses them, protects them and uses them to spread the Gospel wherever they are serving. And whether it is here in America or in a foreign land, may God give us a great harvest of souls!
