From Imperfect to Perfect

I think sometimes it’s good to stop and remind ourselves of what Jesus did for us.

Hebrews 10:14 says, “…by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

I really love how the Message paraphrase reads. “It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people.”

I don’t know about you, but no matter how hard I try, I am far from perfect!  Yet God still sent Jesus to die for our sins. He is still working to perfect us.

To put it another way, we are a “work in progress.” I’m so thankful that God loved me enough to send Jesus, who is perfect, to perfect an imperfect person like me!
