Promises Made, Promises Kept

Have you ever made a promise you didn’t keep? Maybe it was something you meant to do and just couldn’t make it happen.  Worse yet, maybe it was a promise you made and you totally forgot about.

“He provides food for those who fear Him; He remembers His covenant forever.” Psalm 111:5

One version translates it like this: He never forgets His promises!

I read God’s Word every day. There are certain verses that I have memorized and have quoted over and over.

One of my favorites is Isaiah 41:10. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

And what about Psalm 66:12? “We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.”

What about you? Are you going through fire and water? Your God will not fail you! The promises He has made, He will keep!
